I love creating new Bubble Up recipes because they’re easy, healthy, delicious, and so versatile. They have become a great simple dish in my house that everyone enjoys and keeps me on track! This Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Up is similar to my Chicken Ranch Spaghetti Bake in flavor. So if you’re looking for something more carb-heavy, go with the spaghetti bake. It will feed a crowd. If you need something light and healthy, or perfect for your lunch meal prep, go with this Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Up.
My Bubble Up recipes use the 7.5oz biscuit packs, and they can now be hard to find. But you can still make these easily by weighing out 7.5 oz of dough. Or you could use all of the biscuit dough that you have, and just use the Weight Watchers App Recipe Creator to change your points value of the recipe. It’s easy to do!
Three reasons why you need to make this recipe!
One serving of Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Up is only 250 calories.
It’s hard to find a healthy casserole that’s under 500 calories, much less under 300 calories. You’ll instantly fall in love with the flavor of this Bubble Up and the fact that it’s so low in calories.
It’s a fantastic recipe for meal prepping.
Since it’s easy to make, and will give you six servings, you could make it on a Sunday to have lunches done for the week. It will easily keep all week in the fridge.
Diet food doesn’t have to be bland.
By using ranch seasoning, you can keep the calories low and still get the delicious ranch flavor we all love. Actual ranch dressing is high in calories, so this saves you a good bit of calories without sacrificing flavor.

Different ways to change up this recipe:
- You could use your own ranch seasoning mix by a mixture of the following herbs: Onion powder, onion flakes, dill, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried chives.
- If you don’t have low point bacon, just use a few pieces and make sure it’s crumbled really well so you can still spread it across the whole casserole.
- Fresh parsley or cilantro work great as a topping if you don’t like green onion.
- Add in diced bell peppers to help bulk this up if you like veggies.
Tips and Tricks for Making Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Up:
- I suggest cutting the biscuits open in half, then each half piece into 6 pieces as the biscuits will be larger and you want as many small dough pieces as you can get.
- Walmart’s Great Value Brand has a value 4 pack, with each tube being 7.5 oz, so that is a great one to use.
- Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Up freezes well. It’s a great casserole to make a few in aluminum pans and freeze. This will allow you to just pull one out when needed, and bake it up. I recommend freezing it after it’s cooked. You could also use these frozen casseroles to gift to new moms or at housewarming parties.
