Different ways to change up this recipe:
- Use different chocolate chips to vary the flavor. Lily’s No Sugar Added brand has a variety of chocolate flavors such as salted caramel, white chocolate, butterscotch, and more.
- You can use quick oats or rolled oats – whatever you have on hand. However, there will be a texture difference, so just keep that in mind. If you do have rolled oats, you can get them a whirl in a blender for a few seconds to make them finer like quick oats. This will ensure you’re getting the right texture.
Tips and Tricks for Making Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars:
- Keep these bars in a sealed container. It’s best to store them in the fridge, but they can sit at room temp for a few days as long as they are sealed well. You can also freeze these bars to keep them for up to three months.
