Tips and Tricks for Making Cinnamon Cake Donuts:
- I only counted points for ½ tablespoon sugar for the topping as you will have leftover mix. I personally only used half of the sugar cinnamon mix, but you can try and use all of it if you prefer, or put more into the batter.
- If you don’t keep cake mix in the house, you can increase the all purpose flour and just use that instead. But the cake mix does add a nice sweetness as well as a cake like texture. I always have a box in the pantry and if you seal it, it will keep well for other baked goodies.
