– 400g spaghetti
– 500g lean beef mince

– 1 tsp dried oregano
– 1 beef stock cube
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Parmesan cheese, grated, to serve
Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and finely chopped celery and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and slightly golden.
2. Add the minced beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
3. Add in the tomato puree and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Pour in the chopped tomatoes, oregano, beef stock cube, and season well with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
5. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the packet instructions until al dente, then drain well.
